As I write this, Interamnia is onboarding her first beta users, and folks are starting to get comfortable, kick their shoes off and make themselves at home. Meanwhile, I’m getting serious about asking - what does this platform really want to be? and what does this platform really NEED to be?
It’s designed for people like myself - kairos time practitioners.
People whose work does not fit neatly into time boxes - whether it’s minutes or months.
People whose work settles into time as flow, rather than time as money.
There’s a tiny space capsule that’s more than halfway to the moon right now, with four brave souls on board. That’s kairos time.
Building software and a business during naps and after bedtime - that’s kairos time.
Interamnia means “a place between rivers”. The Latin for river - amnia - reminds me of the amniotic sac, the place where we are first nourished.
I’m building Interamnia to be a place where we are nourished in the flow.
Right now, I’m still deep in the creation phase, but the birth is coming very soon, and once it does, I will communicate more here. But for now, just this little flow-time transmission, in honor of the brave souls on that slingshot journey, the hope that they represent for all of humanity, and the restoration of the intuitive, left-hand, receptive and contemplative path.
